Stranded Mexican is a unique venue situated in beautiful Port Elliot, South Australia, just a few hundred metres from the beach and only a few minutes from many local attractions.
We serve a range of traditional and Modern Mexican style food, as well as fabulous tapas and gourmet pizzas using the finest local produce. We source our ingredients from as many local suppliers as possible. This ensures freshness and quality is at a premium, as well as showing support for other local businesses.
We are licensed for 200 people, seating approximately 100 inside and 100 in our spacious outside courtyard. We can cater for both large and small functions with 2 small function rooms inside perfect for small meetings or gatherings. Our function menus offer a great mix of both Mexican style food, as well as Modern Australian cuisine for the traditionalists.
We offer a fantastic alternative for weddings, birthday, conferences and other special occasions; contact us today to discuss planning your next function. Flexibility is our motto so ask us how to make your function one to remember. As well as in house functions, we offer offsite catering from our fully equipped catering trailer.
Our Cactus Baja is a funky, fully stocked bar, just perfect for pre dinner drinks or kicking back after a meal. As well as offering an extensive range of tequilas, sangrias and margaritas, also offers premium beer and wines for sale.
Or if you prefer to eat at home, all our menu items are available as Take Away.
We also have modern apartment style accommodation upstairs available all year round, which sleeps up to 6 adults.
In true Mexican style, we are family friendly offering highchairs and a great kids menu for the little gringos!
We offer friendly, personal service and a relaxed and fun atmosphere, so why not come and see for yourself why our customers love us! We are open 7 days for dinner in Summer and Wednesday to Saturday dinners from April til October. We are open at anytime for functions, weddings, conferences and accommodation.
Ole!
